AAKG - Arginine Alpha – Ketoglutarate

In AAKG (arginine alpha-ketoglutarate) is the binding of the amino acid arginine with alpha-ketoglutarate, which is an intermediate product of key importance in the Krebs cycle and in the metabolism of amino acids. Alpha-ketoglutarate is one of the most important nitrogen transporters in metabolic processes. Arginine - is the only precursor to nitrogen (NO) - and is growing in popularity among bodybuilders looking to maintain their tough shape in all conditions. Alpha ketoglutarate is a keto acid that is caused by the deamination of glutamate and takes part in the energy-producing biochemical processes of human cells.

Recommended intake:
