IronMaxx 100% Micellar Casein Protein

Deciding which type of protein to choose at which time of day and for what purpose is still a problem for many athletes in weight training, bodybuilding and fitness.

Micellar casein protein is an ideal source of protein when it comes to providing the body with a permanent supply of amino acids. The 100% casein protein provides slowly digestible protein building blocks that provide the body with long-lasting supplies. Due to the long digestion time of the casein protein over a period of 30 minutes up to 8 hours after consuming the protein, the body has a constant pool of amino acids available. Therefore, one speaks of the ultra-long effect through time-released, ie time-controlled absorbable proteins. This “time released resorption” of the micellar casein is caused by a “coagulation” of the casein in the stomach. This gel formation causes a delayed protein breakdown, an increased production of the satiety hormone cholecystokinin (CCK),

Micellar casein is a natural component of milk and is extracted from whole milk by means of microfiltration and largely freed from milk sugar (lactose) and milk fat. The raw material obtained in this way has a protein content of 80 - 83% protein and, in contrast to other casein forms or caseinates, is not denatured. Since micellar casein is a gently filtered, undenatured milk protein, micellar casein still contains all the valuable bioactive peptides of milk protein and has a high-quality amino acid composition.

In addition to 50% essential amino acids (EAAs), 20% branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs: L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine), 20% glutamine and an above-average 3.5% arginine are found.

Recommended intake:

Mix 250 ml water or chilled, low-fat milk (fat content 1.5%) with approx. 2 ½ heaping tablespoons of powder (25g).

Take up to 4 servings daily as needed. It is recommended to consume it before exercise or competition, immediately after training and before going to sleep.
